The wash-bear® sink-float separator is designed for cleaning mineral recycling materials. The system reliably separates lightweight contaminants such as aerated concrete, plastics, wood, films, paper, organic components and other impurities from heavy mineral fractions.
The process is based on hydromechanical separation in a water bath. Heavy mineral components sink and are discharged by the conveying screw. Lightweight materials float to the surface and are continuously removed from the process by the brush belt.
The wash-bear® sink-float separator is particularly suitable for processing construction waste, concrete recycling material, recycled aggregates, mineral mixtures and recycled construction materials.
